Integrated Program Against Human Trafficking

The Integrated Program Against Human Trafficking, supported by Friends of Maiti Nepal (FOMN), plays a vital role in operating the Child Protection Centre (CPC) in Kathmandu district. Implemented from January 2025 to December 2025, this child-focused project is dedicated to combating human trafficking by providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to vulnerable and at-risk children. These services include safe shelter, nutritious food, healthcare, and educational support. Through the CPC, the program ensures protection, care, and development opportunities for rescued children while working to prevent further exploitation and promote long-term community resilience against human trafficking.

Project Objectives: 

  • To provide comprehensive rehabilitation services including shelter, food, health care, psycho- social counselling and education support to to vulnerable and at-risk children
  • To raise public awareness to mitigate human trafficking and unsafe migration.
