Sonja Jeevan Kendra
At Sonja Jeevan Kendra, we provide a safe and caring space for women and children who have survived trafficking, abuse, and violence. Established in 2001, our clinic is more than just a healthcare center; it’s a place where survivors find comfort, regain their strength, and begin their healing journey.
We offer general health checkups, lab testing, medications, and referrals for more complex cases. Visiting doctors provide specialized care, while our dedicated medical team, including a doctor, three nurses, and three clinic assistants, ensures that every patient receives the attention they need. #

Each year, we care for more than 400 survivors, including women and children staying at Maiti Nepal.
Maiti Nepal is also one of the recognized Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) centers in Nepal, providing essential HIV treatment and care services. Through this program, we offer medical support, counseling, and regular follow-ups to individuals living with HIV, helping them lead healthier and more dignified lives.
With 38 beds, our clinic is equipped to handle basic medical needs. We have a laboratory, pharmacy, patient care area, and even an entertainment room, where patients can relax and feel at ease.
For us, healthcare is not just about treatment, it’s about restoring dignity, rebuilding confidence, and helping survivors move forward with strength and hope.
